1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, or using the Workly application and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue using our services immediately.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use Workly for any illegal, unauthorized, or abusive activities.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, disrupt the integrity of, or distribute malware/spam through the Workly platform. Any breach may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

4. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Workly at our discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

Workly and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve our services, Workly collects the following categories of information:

• Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, and profile details provided during account creation.
• Usage Data: Log data, device information, IP address, operating system, and interaction metrics within the app.
• User Content: Tasks, notes, messages, attachments, and project data uploaded or processed through Workly.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate, maintain, and provide the core functionalities of Workly.
• To personalize user experience and deliver customer support.
• To send important service updates, security alerts, and administrative notifications.
• To monitor security, detect fraud, and ensure platform safety.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We do not sell your personal data. We may share necessary information with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting, analytics, and authentication services) strictly to support application operations under confidentiality obligations.

4. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you have the right to access, correct, download, or request the deletion of your personal data at any time from your account settings or by contacting our support team.

1. Data Storage & Encryption

Security is fundamental to Workly. All user data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols and at rest using strong encryption algorithms (e.g., AES-256) on secure cloud servers.

2. Data Retention

We retain your personal and workspace data only for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the services. When an account is deleted, your data is scheduled for permanent purge within 30 days from active production databases.

3. Account & Data Deletion Request

You can request complete deletion of your data directly through Settings > Privacy > Delete Account in the Workly app or by emailing us at privacy@workly.app. Upon verification, all associated personal identifiers and files will be permanently purged.

4. Backup & Disaster Recovery

Encrypted backups are taken regularly to prevent catastrophic data loss. These backups are retained for a limited cycle and are overwritten automatically.
